Terms & Conditions

The terms on which we quote and install. Accepting a quote or paying a deposit means you agree to them — so they are short, and they are in plain English.

Last updated 22 September 2026 · Applies to titangutterguards.com.au and titangutterguards.org

1. These terms

These terms apply to every quote, booking and installation by Titan Gutter Guards Pty Ltd (ABN 42 697 595 510) ("Titan", "we", "us") and to your use of titangutterguards.com.au. By accepting a quote, paying a deposit or booking an install, you ("you", "the customer") agree to them. If anything in a written quote conflicts with these terms, the quote wins for that job.

2. Quotes

  • Most quotes are prepared from aerial imagery and the details you give us, without a site visit. They are based on our measurement of your roof and on what you tell us about roof type, gutter profile, valleys and storeys.
  • A quote is an offer to do the work described in it, at the price shown, for the metres and materials listed. It is not a survey of your roof's condition.
  • Quotes do not expire, but if more than 90 days pass between the quote and the install we may need to re-confirm the price if our material costs have changed. We will tell you before you pay anything.
  • If, on the day, the roof is materially different from what was quoted — for example, more metres of gutter, a different gutter profile, extra valleys, a second storey we could not see, or gutters that must be cleaned or repaired before mesh can go on — we will tell you the difference before doing the extra work, and you can accept it, reduce the scope, or cancel under clause 10.

3. Accepting a quote and paying a deposit

  • You accept a quote by tapping Accept on your quote link, replying in writing, or paying the deposit.
  • A deposit of 20% of the quoted price is payable on acceptance. It covers ordering your mesh in your chosen colours. Your job is not scheduled, and no material is ordered, until the deposit clears.
  • Deposits can be paid by card through the secure link on your invoice, or by bank transfer to the account on the invoice. We never ask for card details by phone or text.

4. What the price covers

Your quoted price includes:

  • Supply of the gutter guard mesh in the size (2 mm or 4 mm), material and colours in your quote, with trims and fixings.
  • Installation by a licensed and insured installer, including fitting to valleys where quoted.
  • A clean of the gutters being covered, immediately before the mesh goes on, so it is fitted to clear gutters.
  • Removal of our packaging and offcuts from the site.
  • Travel, where shown in the quote.

It does not include gutter repair or replacement, downpipe work, roof repairs, removal of an existing gutter guard, cleaning of gutters that are not being covered, scaffold or elevated-work platforms required by site conditions, or any work not listed. We will quote any of these separately if you want them.

All prices are in Australian dollars. GST, where applicable, is shown on the invoice.

5. Colours and materials

  • After your deposit we send you a link to choose your roof and gutter colours from the range we stock. Once you confirm, the colours are final and the material is ordered to match. Changes after that point may be charged at the cost of re-ordering.
  • Colours are matched to the Colorbond® range as closely as our supplier's stock allows. Screens show colours differently; we check your choice against the actual roof on the day and will not fit a colour that is obviously wrong without speaking to you.
  • Where a colour is unavailable we will offer the closest match and give you the option to wait for stock.

6. Booking and your install date

  • Paying a deposit places your job in our schedule. Our usual lead time is 3–4 weeks from deposit, depending on material availability and installer availability in your area. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.
  • We will text or call you with your install date, and confirm it the day before.
  • Weather, installer illness and supply delays can move a date. If that happens we will tell you as soon as we know and offer the next available date. Paying a deposit does not entitle you to a specific date.

7. Access and site conditions

You agree to:

  • Give the installer clear access to the property, the roof and all gutters being covered on the agreed day, including gates, driveways and pets secured.
  • Tell us before the day about anything that affects safety or access: solar panels, fragile roofing, asbestos, power lines close to the roof, steep or slippery surfaces, an unstable roof, dogs, or a body corporate / landlord whose permission is needed.
  • Confirm that you own the property or have the owner's permission for the work, and that you are responsible for the condition of the roof and gutters we are fitting to.

Our installers work under Australian work-health-and-safety law. If they arrive and judge the roof unsafe to work on without extra equipment we did not quote for, we will stop, explain, and re-quote. A wasted trip caused by access not being available on the agreed day may be charged at $150 plus travel.

8. On install day

  • You do not need to be home, but someone must be contactable by phone.
  • Gutter guard mesh is screwed or clipped to the roof and gutter. Some marking of the roof surface near fixings is normal. Fitting to an old, corroded or badly aligned gutter may not be possible without repair; the installer will tell you if so.
  • The installer photographs the finished work. Those photos are sent to you and kept with your job record.
  • Please check the work within 7 days and tell us in writing about anything you are not happy with. Concerns raised after 7 days are handled under the warranty in clause 11, not as a defect in the original work.

9. Final payment

  • The balance is invoiced on completion and is due within 7 days of the invoice, by card link or bank transfer.
  • Any agreed variation from clause 2 is added to the final invoice.
  • If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue we may charge interest at 2% per month on the outstanding amount, recover reasonable collection costs, and the warranty in clause 11 is suspended until the account is paid.
  • Title to the materials stays with Titan until the final invoice is paid in full.

10. Changes and cancellations

  • Before you confirm colours: cancel at any time and we refund your deposit in full.
  • After colours are confirmed and material is ordered: we can refund the deposit less our actual, unrecoverable material and re-stocking costs, which we will show you.
  • Within 48 hours of the install date: the deposit is not refundable, as installer time has been committed — unless we are the ones who move the date.
  • If we cancel for reasons within our control, you get a full refund of everything paid. If we cannot install for reasons outside our control (for example the roof is unsafe or unsuitable and you decline a variation), we refund everything paid less unrecoverable material costs.
  • You can reduce the scope of a job (fewer metres) before install day; the price is adjusted pro rata at the quoted rate.

11. Warranty

20-year Titan warranty. For 20 years from the install date, if the mesh, trims or fixings we supplied fail, or our installation lets go, under normal conditions and the conditions below have been met, we will repair or replace the affected section at no charge.

This warranty is given by Titan Gutter Guards Pty Ltd (ABN 42 697 595 510). It is a voluntary warranty in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (clause 12), and it is subject to everything in this clause.

11.1 What you must do to keep the warranty

Gutter guard is a maintenance-reduction product, not a maintenance-free one. Fine debris, seed, dust and organic matter still land on top of the mesh and must be cleared, or it composts, holds water and rusts or lifts the mesh. The warranty is conditional on you maintaining the system as follows:

  • Flush the gutters and mesh at least every 6 months — hose or blow the top of the mesh clear and flush the gutters so water runs freely to the downpipes. More often if you are under trees or in a bushfire, coastal or high-wind area.
  • Keep proof. Keep dated receipts or invoices from a gutter-cleaning contractor, or dated photos of the cleared mesh if you do it yourself, for every 6-month service. If you cannot produce this proof when you make a claim, the claim is not covered.
  • Never let anything grow in or on the mesh. Moss, lichen, grass, weeds, seedlings or vines on the mesh or in the gutter mean the system has not been maintained, and any damage they cause is not covered.
  • Keep the mesh clear. Leaves, needles, bark, seed pods or any other build-up left on top of the mesh long enough to mat, hold water or block flow is a maintenance failure, not a product failure.
  • Keep overhanging branches trimmed so they do not rest on, scrape or drop heavy debris onto the roof line.
  • Tell us within 14 days of noticing a problem. Damage that gets worse because a fault was left unreported is not covered.

11.2 What voids the warranty

The warranty is void in full for any section of the system where:

  • The 6-monthly maintenance in 11.1 has not been done, or cannot be proved with dated receipts, invoices or photos.
  • Vegetation of any kind has been allowed to grow in the gutter or on or through the mesh.
  • Debris has been left on the mesh long enough to compost, mat, corrode the mesh or hold standing water.
  • Anyone other than Titan or an installer we authorise has removed, lifted, cut, refitted, walked on, pressure-washed, painted or otherwise altered the mesh, trims or fixings — including solar installers, roof plumbers, antenna or aerial installers, painters, gutter cleaners and pest controllers.
  • The gutter, fascia, roof sheeting, tiles or flashings the mesh is attached to have been repaired, replaced, moved or have failed.
  • The property has been re-roofed, extended, or had work done on the roof line after our install without the mesh being professionally removed and refitted.
  • The final invoice for the job is unpaid or was paid late in breach of clause 9.

11.3 What the warranty never covers

  • Damage from storms, hail, fire, flood, lightning, falling trees or branches, ice, wind-borne objects, animals, birds, vermin or people on the roof.
  • Leaks, overflow or water damage caused by blocked, undersized, sagging, corroded, back-falling or otherwise defective gutters or downpipes, whether the defect existed before our install or arose after it. Gutter guard does not fix a gutter that does not drain.
  • Overflow in rainfall that exceeds the design capacity of the existing gutters and downpipes.
  • Any pre-existing condition of the roof, gutters, fascia or flashings, whether or not it was visible at the time of install.
  • Normal weathering, surface oxidation and colour fade of the mesh, trims and fixings over time, and minor cosmetic marks.
  • A small amount of fine debris passing through the mesh — that is how mesh works and is not a defect.
  • Bird, possum or rodent entry where the roof itself has gaps we were not engaged to close.
  • Consequential loss of any kind: water damage to the building or contents, mould, loss of rent, cleaning, or the cost of anyone else's work.

11.4 Making a claim

  • Email [email protected] with your address, the install date, clear photos of the problem, and your maintenance proof for the previous 12 months.
  • We may inspect before deciding a claim. If the inspection finds the problem is not covered, we may charge a call-out fee of $150 plus travel, which we will tell you before attending.
  • Where a claim is covered we will repair or replace the affected section, at our choice, using the closest available current product. We do not refund the original price, and the repair carries the balance of the original 20-year term, not a new one.
  • Our decision on a claim is based on the evidence provided and the inspection. If you disagree, clause 12 still applies and you keep every right the Australian Consumer Law gives you.

The warranty transfers to a new owner of the property provided the maintenance record in 11.1 is unbroken and the install date can be shown.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service you are entitled to cancel your contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value; for major failures with goods you are entitled to a replacement or refund. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced, or services fixed, if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

13. Liability

  • We hold public liability insurance and our installers are required to hold their own.
  • To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from a job is limited to re-doing the work or refunding what you paid for it, at our choice, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as loss of rent or business.
  • Nothing in this clause limits your rights under clause 12, or our liability for death, personal injury, or property damage caused by our negligence.

14. Photos and reviews

We photograph completed work for your records and our warranty file. We only publish photos of your property on our website or social media if you have agreed, and then without your name or street address — see our Privacy Policy. We may ask you for a review after the job; whether you leave one, and what it says, is entirely up to you.

15. Website

  • The content on titangutterguards.com.au is general information about gutter guard and our services. It is not advice about your particular roof; a quote is.
  • Prices, lead times and product availability on the website are indicative and may change without notice. Your quote is what applies to you.
  • The text, photos, logo and design of the website belong to Titan or are used under licence. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.
  • Links we text you (quote, colours, photos, invoice, review) are personal to your job. Please do not share them.

16. General

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts — without limiting your right to use the consumer dispute body in your own state.
  • If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • We may update these terms. The version on our website when you accept a quote is the one that applies to that job.
  • Questions about these terms: [email protected] or 0483 987 198.
