One of the biggest benefits of a quality aluminium gutter guard is how little maintenance it requires. Unlike unprotected gutters needing clearing 1–3 times per year, most gutter guard systems need only a visual check every year or two.
Our powder-coated aluminium mesh is engineered to be virtually self-cleaning. Rainfall washes the surface clear and the sloped angle means debris dries and blows away. In high-leaf areas, a few simple steps keep your system at peak performance.
How Often Should You Check?
For most homes, a visual inspection every 12–24 months is sufficient. After major storms or at the end of autumn when leaf fall is heaviest, a quick check is worthwhile.

Visual Check from Ground
Most issues — debris buildup, section lifting, mesh damage — are visible from ground level. Do a walkaround after autumn and major storms.
Light Rinse When Needed
A light rinse with a garden hose from ground level dislodges fine pollen, dust or debris sitting on the mesh surface.
Trim Overhanging Branches
Reducing the volume of debris falling directly onto the guard significantly reduces any maintenance required.
Check for Lifted Sections
After heavy winds, check that no sections have lifted at the edges. Any loose trim should be re-secured promptly.

Store your installation documentation safely. Your 15-year warranty covers product defects and workmanship faults.
